Sketchbooks
(2006 - Present)

Each sketchbook is a different chapter in my life. I've tried my best to keep every one of them since I was a kid, and only a few have been lost to time.

Some of these may contain adult content, please keep that in mind when browsing.

Sketchbook 20; Hardware Book

July, 2019 - July, 2020
[Handmade, 5x3.5", 105 images]

This sketchbook started out as a 3-pack of pocket journals I got in a discount rack at Michael's. I glued them cover to cover and used it as my pocket sketchbook when I worked at Lowe's going into the pandemic. I would use whatever supplies were stashed at the register and make something with them.

At the time, I was dealing with un-diagnosed depression which spiraled out of control once the pandemic hit and I became an "essential worker".

[Carrd only allows 100 images per gallery, as such the following pages are split into two, Cover - Pg. 51, and Pg. 52 - End]

Sketchbook 21; Transition Book

August 8, 2019 - January, 2023
[Artist's Loft, 8x5.5", 112 images]

I picked up this sketchbook before the start of end of the world, and didn't end up finishing it until the rubble settled enough to access the damage. It's practically falling apart from 3 years of handling but it served me well.

[Carrd only allows for 100 images per gallery, so the following sketchbook is split into two sections, Cover- Pg. 56 and Pg. 56- End.]

Sketchbook 22; Scrap Book

April, 2023 - June, 2024
[Handmade, 8x5.5", 50 images]

I purchased this handmade sketchbook from Tootiebird in San Jose, CA at Further Confusion 2023. It sat unused for a few months while I finished Sketchbook 21. It's sturdy and made with 80lb cardstock so I decided to go all out and use this book to experiment with mixed media.
